Today’s post is a little different. I felt like writing and sharing with you the tech blogs I follow, the ones I consider the best Spanish-language blogs / online magazines about technology. Let’s go through them:
Índice de Contenidos del Artículo
1) Xataka:
To start the list, a classic. It was the first tech blog I began reading around five years ago. I liked it from the start because it combines articles about the latest technology trends, like this one with other shorter, crazier pieces that offer a fun counterpoint to other “heavier” posts, such as smartphone or graphics card reviews. More focused on hardware than software, it does not neglect the most relevant news from that side of the tech world either. My recommendation if you could follow only one tech blog. By the way, it has an internet cousin called Xataka On, focused on everything related to the network of networks.
2) Genbeta:
The counterpoint to the previous one. This blog focuses more on the world of software and applications. Maybe I am more into “gadgets”, but it does not hook me as much as the previous one. In any case, its level is high and it always helps me discover software that would otherwise have passed me by. An example. It has a sister blog for developers, genbetadev, which is worth a look.
3) Tecnologeek:
This is a tech blog I have only been following for a short time. The truth is that, when looking for refreshing content, it is nice to step a little outside the Weblogs network (all the previous blogs belong to that network) and come across things like this, and I think it is a promising bet that I hope keeps growing and doing things as well as it has so far. I especially like the posts written by Joni, a writer worth following. Here is a tech analysis as a sample.
4) Personal / opinion blogs:
These are a couple of voices writing about the world of technology but from different perspectives:
5) Analysis blogs:
Here are a couple of websites I usually check whenever I am looking for information about a device. I do not follow them regularly, but I like the way they analyze devices:
Well, I think that is all. In truth, I found it strange to see that, given how much I like technology, there are not that many Spanish-language blogs I follow. The truth is that they seem like more when you add the design, online marketing, comics and film blogs (in Spanish and English) that I read daily and that, with my usual calm, I will publish here over time.
And you, what do you recommend?
